A great bar - very good atmosphere, nice entertainment, pleasant staff, reasonable prices! It was an wonderful time - and i really know that i come back next year again!

Went to The Honey Pot for Sunday Lunch today and it was terrible. Now I have been going to the Honey Pot as it now is since it was one of Mark's Bars on the Soi. It was originally where the Eight Ball now is. It didn't sell food then. When it moved to its present location it started to sell food. It was always good value for money an well presented. I used to eat on Sundays at the The Double Top until Brian died. When he died his cook went to HP and I did to on a regular basis. Cooks move around a lot but I stayed at HP eating every few weeks or so. Now my son is an Executive Chef and the minute my food was delivered I should have twigged what was wrong. There was gravy already on the meat (a very old ploy) and a gravy boat. The veggies were not like they normally were but okay. The Pork, well that is a different matter. Maybe 15% was edible the rest I left on the plate along with my future custom. Now I suspect that the owner has nothing to do with the kitchen and that it is probably leased out. However when my shoes need repairing I will take them to the cook. I don't normally do things like they but I couldn't find a web page..
