I enjoy this pub which is warm, comfortable and has a literature theme. They have a solid range of beers on drafts, spirits, and wine as well as food. Downstairs there is a private event space. Staff are friendly and it is a nice place to have a drink, a meal, or work on something - perhaps writing your new book?

nice place for having some drinks, the cider and beer was very good but we were specially impressed with the cocktails. the food was good as well and the staff very helpful.

Although, the kitchen is Okay, wouldn't be my place of choice in the area. There are better options close to this place.

Nice if loud place. Rather cafe or pub with creative menu and wide selection of dishes and drinks. Not posh or romantic at all.

Good food and self brewing. Acoustic is a bit weird with band playing at the entrance, but gives nice homey feeling.
