I stayed at the Sherborne with my family for a few nights in one of their Apartment Rooms, and had one of the comprehensively best hotel experiences of my life. I reserved my room online and followed up with a phone call to confirm dates and a driver from Borispyl, had no issues with booking.
Staff: Comfortable in English if necessary, and incredibly professional. They were happy to give recommendations for restaurants and grocery stores, called taxis (and a driver from the airport) when requested, and also allowed us to store our baggage on departure day. Polite and socially graceful in such a way that leaves a smile on your face.
Accommodations: Clean, cozy, and beautifully designed. Our flat had two bedrooms, two balconies, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a full shower. The decor was tasteful, beds were comfy, and the staff gave us an extra cot when a family friend spent the night. There is also a "minibar" in the rooms with coffee, tea, and snacks at admittedly reasonable prices. Cleaning staff made the place look brand new every day.
Location: 5-minute walk from a few restaurants and a large grocery store. About 10-minute walk to the nearest metro station, which is then just a few stops from the center (Khreshchyatik). Nestled inside a quiet apartment block, neighborhood is safe.
Price: This is the only potential "catch" here, as you will be paying closer to Western European prices. Our room was about $80 USD a night, and included the list of comfortable, but flowery (for some) bells and whistles. That said, as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for", and the experience on the whole was absolutely worth every penny.

Nice quiant little apartment. Self serviced, so will need your own tea, coffee, milk and water. But there is a 24 Hour store 2min walk away which sells a lot

clean apartments, good place, near metro station, in historic part of Kiev. Everytime, when i going to capital, trying to book this hotel at first.
Отличные аппартаменты, был несколько раз, с семьей, с женой, ночевали в разных квартирах, везде чисто.
Отзывчивый персонал, последний раз приболел, даже градусник принесли :)
Метро 5 минут, отличный продуктовый магазин 3-5 минут, кафе есть рядом, парковка есть, хоть и тесно заезжать, но есть.
Номера в мещанском стиле, телики маленькие, но их два, мебель на кухне дешевая и без изыска, но все работает и все чисто, что для нас важнее всего.
Обязательно сюда вернусь, приветливый персонал, удобное место.
