Ukrainians in Canada, the United States, Germany, Poland, and elsewhere have become successful artists, entrepreneurs, inventors, politicians, scientists and celebrities. This should be a very interesting museum but it falls far short of its potential. Like most museums in Kyiv, it is for the most part, a collection of stuff with a focus on long-gone Ukrainians - nothing contemporary with the exception of a nice exhibit on Ukrainian artists from Poland, Australia, and elsewhere. A babushka will follow you around the museum and turn the lights on and off as you go from one room to the other. I left thinking that perhaps this building would be better served as a Museum of Ukrainian Diaspora Artists.

Хороший музей, но на один раз. Основная экспозиция займет около полу часа, может и меньше. Каждую последнюю пятницу месяца бесплатный вход. Работницы пытаются навязать возможность фотографировать за 10 грн., экскурсии и дополнительные выставки за отдельную плату.
