The food here is pretty bad, and the waitress was rude and unhelpful.
My partner ordered a couple of simple dishes, nothing fancy(expensive) - and was rewarded with a dirty look from the waitress. I asked her what they had that did not contain meat and she replied that it's all written down on the menu and I can read for myself. Thanks lady, if I wanted to read I'd go to a library. Just friggin' tell me the 3 damn dishes that your kitchen can make without meat. She suggested I have the calamari (cha-ching), and when I agreed her face lit up with the brightness of 1000 lightbulbs - her demeanor suddenly became friendly and sweet and she complimented me on my excellent choice.
So the food arrives - one dish at a time, with long delays in between - and the calamari is OK at first, but then it's just an entire plate of tough calamari in a curdled red-wine sauce that was bitter and under-seasoned. It was truly a disappointing dish. But even more disappointing was the plate of french fries that were SOGGY and soft and not even golden-brown (come on kitchen worker, have you no pride in your work whatsoever?)
So to counter-balance the bland, bitter, bland calamari I ordered a sparkling water. I was given two choices - Bourjomi or Perrier. I chose the perrier and the waitress brought me a bottle of ROOM TEMPERATURE water. I would have complained, but thought screw it, I just needed a drink.
When the bill came, the 250ml piss-warm water was 79UAH!!!!! WTF!!!!!
In conclusion, our experience at Momento cafe/restaurant was disappointing and we would not come here again. From the bad food, to the rude waitress, to the unrefrigerated 79UAH water, there is really nothing here that is worth revisiting.

Do not go there. I had a mushroom cream soup which looked like a snot...over blended, bad color, no taste.. The server didn't ask how was it when I left the soup without eating it.....but I then told him that I didn't like the soup and it was bad! So he just took it and without saying anything brought us a bill including this stupid soup...
My husband had a pizza... It was an excessive salty...
Strange woman in a weird too seductive dress was cruising around drinking from the bar...no one knows what's her job in this place... Not a hostess as she didn't talk to no one...not a supervisor.... But obviously she works there.
Bad service, high prices, no atmosphere..

Hey not bad! A realish italian place tucked away near the Circus. Real stone oven pizza, quaint interior.
