Would have been better, but they withdrew the evening meal service without any notice the night I stayed. It's not near any shops or places to eat; you have to go a long way back down the hill in to Bath.

I stayed here for one night with the family. My experience was not really good. Room was to small and smelly. The heating system was not working. I looked their kitchen as it provided everything that I needed to prepare my food. The outside area is beautiful.

Very clean quaint place to stay, a little pricey for lodgings if booked before hand so hang on for a bargain closer to date away. 5min walk downhill to a tesco express & only 10 -15 min walk to town center. Beautiful surroundings. Very basic rooms but really enjoyed our stay. Many thanks

I was there with a group of 55 of my students (aged 15). We found the facilities clean, even if for some of our students not having a bathroom/shower in their room was an inconvenience (only a few rooms were ensuite). The staff, especially the kitchen staff with whom we had the most contact, was very nice. There are two dining rooms but for our group we had to use both because neither of them is big enough to accommodate the whole group. This meant that other guest eating at the same time couldn't find a quiet place to eat (it's impossible for 55 teenagers to eat in silence). Would recommend for a group as long as they are ready for the steep climb to get there as there's no coach park in the vicinity. We had a student in a wheelchair and that climb from the city centre was a challenge for people pushing her, good thing there are buses!

Went here for a night as I was traveling through the UK. They don't have parking so I had to park on the street. But the location is beautiful. The room was as you expected of a youth hostel, 4 beds clean duvet and pillows. They had a good kitchen where we could make our own food and the lounge room was with books, games and a t.v. overall it was lovely to stay here with the service I expected.
