Vincent has been doing this for 25 years and it shows. Friendly, fish battered and fried in front of us, onion vinegar and great tasting wallies.

We had a large order, which was handled quickly but the single handed owner. Lovely fresh cod and plaice along with good sized portions of very tasty chips

I visited Golden Plaice for the first time last week, and really enjoyed the fish and chips. The menu offers classic British fish and chip staples, and does not disappoint. We had a battered cod, large portion of chips, mushy peas and a sausage. Everything was hot and tasty. The cod, in particular, was very sweet and the batter was spot on. The chips were chunky and filled with sweet potato. The proprietor is friendly and chatty, the food served quickly - everything you need for a good fish and chips shop! Definitely recommended!

Terrific place. The owner is absolutely wonderful and kind. His fish and chips were made right as i ordered them and they were delightful. The batter on the fish was simply amazing.

When I was in Hong Kong I hear that fish&chips was a famous food in UK so I decided to try out. Wow it was REALL FANTASTIC!!!! The fish was really crispy and the chips was really tasty, the curry made it even more delicious 😋!!! So tonight I had to come again to order another meal👍👍👍
