Loved this charming restaurant. I had the mushroom risotto and it was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband surprised me on a date while we were in Bath for holidays. I am a vegetarian and the place had great choices for me. The atmosphere was great for a date night and the food was delicious. I am very happy that I went there.

The windows boast some impressive reviews from trip adviser and several reviews here seem very favorable too. We didn't quite feel it lived up to the high expectations. The food was solid, if unimpressive.
The sauce was very good and clearly the best bit
The meat was well done, if nothing special
The vegetables where very simple and a bit bland.
Overall not a bad place, but make sure to arrive early and eat from the (cheaper) "early dinner" menu. I am unsure if the place is worth the full price.

This was my 3rd visit to Tilleys Bistro. The food is always well cooked and very tasty. I love the idea of having a little of many dishes as It gives opportunity to try different dishes. My husband is very hard to please but still raves on about the wonderful food there. Red cabbage is out of this world. Never been disappointed.
