I had not previously read the reviews that precede mine.
My own experience is one of excellence. I took lunch and had the 'Fish 'n' chips'. A lovely piece of haddock with a tasty thin crispy cover of batter, and very well cooked chunky chips. This was followed by what is definitely the best sticky toffee pudding I have had for years. The serving staff were all very attentive and friendly and one, a young woman from Budapest, was particularly so. I will certainly return to The Ivory when next in Belfast.

Took my friends in for a few cocktails after telling them about the great views, we were stopped rather abruptly by the not so pleasant waitress who informed us we couldn't have a drink without ordering food. What sort of bar is this? But not to worry the rooftop Perch bar got our trade instead.

Very nice food nice lay out friendly staff
But for me personally I need a bit bored portions but that's not wat it's about

Heavily overpriced for the food and service. One girl who works here is lovely and adorable. She has a high ponytail and brown eyes. Served our hen party meal. Everyone else who came to the table was pretty rude or didn't respond to us when we thanked them. Food was good but way too expensive for what it was. Only one vegetarian option on the Sunday menu.

I believe I am generous with 2 stars. Food very average and deserts again average. Seating at tables low and ambience poor. Would I recommend for a special night out... NO try McDonald's.
