I volunteered for a couple of months and it was great although some of the tasks I did were a bit boring but they helped the charity out

We requested a pick up from BHF Acocks Green and when the driver arrived he said he couldn't take anything but he could come back tomorrow as a private person and clear everything for £80!!!
We reported him and the woman in charge apologised and re-arranged the pick up a few days later. When the driver arrived he refused to take the suite and the bed. He took the smaller items but probably didn't want to carry the big stuff.
My sister, whose house we were clearing, worked a long time as a senior sister in cardiology and had requested that we should donate to the BHF. She would have been appalled.
I would never give them anything again---the drivers are running this organisation.
