Thanks Pauline for a lovely stay in your charming guest house. Lovely and roomy, very warm and exceptionally clean! A nice heart full English breakfast too, what more could we want! Highly recommended

My name is Bert Gerlofs and I live in Groningen city in the northern part of Holland. Every year around Christmas my son and my both friends travel by plane to Birmingham to watch a game of Aston Villa. And every year we stay in the Glen Guest House.
Staying in the Glen Guest House is great. Mr. and Mrs. Cusack are always friendly and very helpful to us. The rooms are clean and the beds are very convenient. We also look forward having breakfast. Breakfast is really delicious.
The Glen Guest House feels like you're at home.

When I go to Birmingham I always stay at the Glen Guest Hotel. I refuse to stay anywhere else. Pauline makes me and my daughter feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for her.
The rooms are extremely clean and I always feel safe there. I love that she usually tries to give us the same room each time we visit. There is parking available and it is located close to shops and restaurants. We have tried other hotels but this is the one we alwyas go back to every time. See you soon Pauline.

Our first time visit to Birmingham England was perfect, thanks to the owners of this wonderful B&B. We had booked our room over the internet several months in advance. Upon our arrival, we were greeted at the front door and were warmly assisted with our numerous pieces of luggage. The owners were always very pleasant to my husband and I, always there with a good word or a compliment, very professional at all times. Their hospitality went above and beyond, and was delivered with smiles during our one-week visit. The location and amenities were perfect. We felt like we were spending your vacation with friends. Our hosts made sure that any request was fulfilled, any information given, any need addressed. They made it a worry free experience.
The lady of the house accompanied us to the nearby railway station to help us secure reasonably priced round trip rail tickets to London. She and her charming husband made countless recommendations for area attractions and restaurants. We followed their advice at every turn and it never failed us. The place was positively immaculate, very cozy, pleasant, and warmly decorated which made this visit one that we shall never forget!
Any and all requests were met with a friendly demeanor and completed with great efficiency! They were both genuinely happy to have us as their guest.
My husband and I have stayed in many inns or B & B's over the past 20 years.
Our experience at this B&B ranks towards the top! You will not be disappointed!
And we cannot conclude this review without mentioning the wonderful breakfasts,
They were just marvelously delicious!!
We met people from other countries as well as locals during our stay there.
We have already decided to return during the summer months in 2009! It is always wonderful to have your expectations met on every level when traveling away from home!
