As a first time gym user the members of staff were happy to help with showing me round . They classes are also really good , great value for money .

I don't normally go when it is busy, yet all the benches are still taken up. Only 1 conventional bench but 3 squat racks that double up.

Great gym in terms of size and facilities, but it does get frustratingly busy at peak times and there is an issue with gym etiquette there ie. putting weights away after use.

Looks and feels very dilapidated and dirty. Downstairs smells disgusting..not sure what it is exactly. The whole organisation of downstairs is just a mess, thought I'm not sure if this is as a result of refurbishing. Treadmills in random places, cables on opposite ends from each other, missing dumbbells on racks...far from the best gym I've been to

This used to be a 4 or 5 star cheap, simple gym. Now the prices are creeping up while the quality is going down.
Still a pretty decent all round gym, machines, free weights with lifting platforms, classes etc all bookable online or through the app. Open 24/7 generally clean and tidy, with nice changing rooms with showers.
Just little things like the balance beam style weighing scale has been replaced by bathroom scales you could buy from anywhere. Different levels of membership where before it was all one price and got you nearly everything. Little tweaks that used to make it fairly unique with a USP now its just that they are open 24 hours and more gyms are doing that.
