August 2017. Pub has had a lot of money spent on it and decor is greatly improved. Someone has even realised that silent telly is better with teletext switched on. Good menu with special offers. Shame that refurb hasn't been publicised.

This is nothing special and it's not a place to dress up for. They do cheap and cheerful food that's good quality for the price. Often have quiz nights and disco nights etc. Can get a bit rowdy

It's local to me and the refurbishment has improved the pub just needs a decent gaffer to oversee the day to day running and help the staffected to focus on customer service.

Nice hot food. Pleasant staff. £15 for 2 soft drinks, 2 mains and 2 deserts.
