The worse experience last night, we waited for almost an hour for our food and when we finally did get it every one of our orders had something wrong with it, 2 items were missing on my all day breakfast, my friend asked for a sirloin and got a tasteless rump ( unseasoned ) , my other friends half chicken meal, all his veg was ice cold, and my eggs were missing, the hashbrowns were burnt, oh, and I had to wait 10 extra minutes to even see my food, the first thing waitress should learn is that everyone wants all their meals at once, I had to wait an extra 10 minutes, all in all it was the worst experience ever , they refunded 2 of the meals, I walked out, and sat in the car while my friends rushed thru their cold bland meals, my second friend also got a refund for his cold food, but did finish his food the second time because it was warmed up. ..
I'd say bring back the jester

Had a take out Carvery. Brilliant didn't know they do take out Carverys. I'm probably slow everyone may already know about this. Fancied a lovely carvery without having to cook it I didn't fancy eating in a restaurant either. That's what I got, the full works no hassle and eat it in the comfort of my home watching Strictly.

Very nice and cosy, great service. Very clean and tidy. Food and drink are excellent and the prices are very good. Large car park with a few disabled places. Good quiz night on Thursday nights. Easy to find.

Friendly staff. Clean pub. But menu not as good as it used the be under Fort Jester. Food quality felt poor. Food was only warm when arrived. Some food we ordered or tried to order was not available. Joke considering it was only 16:30 on a Saturday. Used to love the mixed grill in fort jester menu. But now it’s 3 different pork products where as before the meat was steak sausage chicken gammon. Size portions are also less. Better places to eat. Such a shame. Loved Fort Jester. Dislike manor farm
