Crossroads revisited. Photo shows dirty "drinking" glass that is clearly filthy, but placed upside down alongside another in the room, surely impossible not to notice the dirt? Comfortable bed, nicely cooked food and overall ok.

Staff helpful and friendly. Food very good. Bar and reception good. Rooms clean but a bit tired looking.

It is what the price tells you, a budget hotel.
Don't go looking for four or five star service and accommodation, you won't get it.
If you like hard beds then you will be in heaven.
Food of a good standard, buffet style service
which helps you select a meal acceptable to most folk.
All the staff encountered were friendly and helpful.
Rooms can be best described as Travelodge
in style, yet to be refurbished.
It is what the price tells you, a budget hotel.
Don't go looking for four or five star service and accommodation, you won't get it.

We had two dealings with the receptionist, checking in and checking out. Both times she was most disgruntled that we had interrupted her having a drink and a gossip with her colleagues. If you can't be polite to people you probably shouldn't be in the hospitality industry. Basic room which provides all you need for an overnight stay but was over priced. Towels were old and rough, holes in the bed sheets, blackout curtains were good it was just a shame they were moth eaten! For "dog friendly" read "dog tolerant". Good location which was easy to get to by car.
