Good all round gym could do with some specialist equipment like a versa climber and finger board to cater to the niche fitness nuts.

Firstly, I am a student who originally joined the gym in the summer holidays. After a surprise turn of events I ended up going Liverpool uni. As I am unable to go to this gym i suspended my account. they further charged me and I even given, as requested, proof I could not afford the amount and for urgent cancellation of my membership. I have just received a letter 2 months after termination of emails between me and the gym demanding the amount of over £300! This is ridiculous! The gym is outrageous and I was spoken to awfully when ringing up. I was told "Well there is a gym in Liverpool" in a sarcastic way before being put on hold for 20 mins! Don't go to this gym!!!!

I have been a member of the Bolton club since it opened in 2000 and have regularly swum in the outside pool. In fact during the first winter I swam in the warm outdoor pool whilst it was snowing. For a few years the pool closed in winter but I am pleased to say it now remains open for most of the year.
The pool temperature is normally kept at a pleasant 28-29 deg although on freezing cold days it can be a degree or two cooler but I have nearly always managed to swim outside. The staff are friendly and helpful and the club has a good facilities and a good atmosphere . On warm and sunny days one really feels good swimming outside and its hard to believe one is not on holiday abroad!
