Excellent family pub. Varied menu, which is regularly updated. Food is of high quality for very reasonable prices. Staff are all friendly, and very proficient at their jobs - especially when it's busy! (Although it can take a while to get served at peak times).

Normally a great place, nice atmosphere and always clean. Today however disappointed as the one thing I really like on the menu was ordered for me and the two ingredients that tie the whole meal together were not available and we were not informed. Got my money back and sad to say may not be back as often as we normally would be.

Another lovely carvery here. Meat was so tender , lovely fresh veg . All served by Steven.all made for a pleasant and tasty meal at a bargain price. Thanks.

Went for a carvery and observed the staff to be very helpful to the less able absolutely perfect service. Affordable meals and welcoming atmosphere.
The four stars rather than five was the roasts were a little hard and the new potatoes were dry and tasted a little old but the meat and veg were to perfection
