Went today for a bite, food was excellent if a little generous but not to grumble! Takeaway option used. Staff are friendly and seemingly happy - bothered more with service than chatting which is great to see. 1 mistake which was quickly rectified so can't argue. Great price, great staff, and good banter at the bar.

Since the previous review, I'm disappointed this will likely be my last visit to the pub as I'm moving home. I've just been for a gigante stack and was not disappointed, generous portions, friendly people, and the lady serving us always seemed to know when we needed something. Thank you for the lovely meal and the incredible memories. 5* hosts !!

Visited the Smokehouse 9 June. Service and atmosphere was very good. The starters that came out were very good: the pulled pork sliders and the smoked sausage. The 'tobacco' onions in particular are delicious. The mains were good, but couldn't match the first course. Overall a good experience.

Stayed in the accommodation. Poor customer service, unbelieveably loud music shaking the building keeping us up all night, will not stay again unless new management attends to customers professionally.
