An average rating seems a little harsh, given that the staff here are great. But Argos often does not have advertised items in stock. Oh they can order the item in for pick up three days later. But why would I do that when I can order the same thing from Amazon and have it delivered to my house the next day? Oh and their catalogue screens need to be smashed into tiny pieces.
Argos need to up their game to compete with Amazon or they won’t be around for long. (Although Argos do at least pay their corporation tax so they’re winning there)
Saying that, they are FAR FAR better than Curry’s PC World and they did provide me with excellent advice when buying my Fitbit.

Bought a small ceramic fan heater for camper van but when I turned it on we realized it was so loud it was ridiculous for the camper. Tried to return it complete with all packaging and receipt but was told I couldn't because it was now used! For all of a minute! Not sure how I would have known this before turning it on. Absolute waste of £40, cheers Argos.

Tried to return an item and was told I had to contact Garmin then Garmin told me to go back in as they should replace it

It's a shame it's closing and going up to Sainsbury's. Bridgend is going to be a ghost town. Bridgend Council need to get their finger out of their ass. Or there's going to be nothing in Bridgend
