A lovely venue. The staff are so pleasant and obliging and made our visit to confirm new years eve ball a relaxing and warm couple of hours with great hospitality. Will definitely recommend. Jean and David

Attended a wedding here the whole experience was outstanding, staff were friendly and helpful while remaining professional. The bar area was welcoming and comfortable and the grounds provided an excellent backdrop for the photographs. The food was the best we had eaten for a long time with unobtrusive service and the evening buffet was above the usual limp sandwich and soggy sausage roll offering. There was a good choice of fruit, yogurt, pastries and cereals as well as a full Welsh breakfast. The room was clean and presentedto a high standard even though we checked in early. The only criticism was the heating came on in the room while we were out which combined with the thick duvet made it a little uncomfortable to go to sleep but the blackout curtains are excellent.

My third time staying here for business and I'm always pleased. In fact the hotel has improved some what, with the reception, lobby and bar area being modernised to s similar standard to the rooms. A much needed addition I think.
Another great room (35), clean and to a high finish and standard, really nice.
The best part was coming back from a days work and sitting by the fire having a pint! Lovely (see pics).
Nice choice of meals for dinner, but being a veggie i went for my usual, Holoumi burger.

Fantastic venue. We went for a wedding reception and the whole event was beautiful. The location and hotel were stunning and the rooms and food were both great. The breakfast was very nice (full English with an option of Welsh Laverbread). All the staff were helpful and friendly. The bar was spacious and open and a wonderful place to sit and chat. Thoroughly enjoyed the event at the Hotel.

Stayed here for one night for our 10th wedding anniversary and can't fault the hotel. Lovely room, lovely bar, restaurant etc (didn't try sauna ) and wonderful food including home made breads, butter and additional chef's tasters. Hotel didn't know it was our anniversary until I happened to mention it to our waitress at dinner and when the puds came out they had got the chef to write us a special message in chocolate sauce along with a couple of complimentary glasses of bubbly. Staff extremely friendly yet professional and attentive whilst still coming across as individuals. Will definitely be looking to go again for further anniversaries.
