Shame I even had to give a one star. Didn't get a chance to taste the food due to bad service. Did not feel welcomed, we was sat down at table. Then forgot about. Others walked in and were served straight away so we left. Tons better restaurants opposite on pier / harbour area

Can't fault the food, however the service was awful. It wasn't very busy and there were plenty of staff on, however from the get-go we had to get the attention of the staff for every interaction, they seemed very offish. One of them was rude to one of our party (ignoring him and going to taking drinks order from everyone one else). Gents toilets could do with being replaced. Very disappointing, won't be going again.

I was in Brighton for work and by myself, it was a long walk from town, but well worth it. Really lovely people, welcoming and genuine. I can barely look at the photo I posted without getting hungry. There are quite a few really good restaurants in Brighton, this one has competition of course, but is definitely recommended.

Oh yes, I recently managed to convince my 18yo to apply to Brighton University, solely so I will have more opportunities to come here. Yes, really.
