Open mainly grassed space bequeathed for college and school students to learn to do sport. Council owned. Current management tolerate residents to enjoy the space though old tennis courts often locked and heavy fencing has been put up. Dogs are now excluded fron some areas - but not cats. Gradually being built over using segregate then fence then hard surface sports/car park use then covered sports facility, finally classrooms/offices. Not good for wildlife. Enjoy while you can.

Public space, but used by the school as a sports field. Dog walking area to the side cordend off. Catches the sun in the evening.

Dyke Road park is a great place to take children as it has a play park & a nice café selling hot & cold snacks, drinks & cakes. Not sure what Hove Green refers to as it is the playing fields belonging to BHASVIC, Cardinal Newman Catholic School & Newman College. Unless you attend any of these educational establishments I don't know what you would be doing there.
