We enjoyed our stay at Drake's hotel. We found the service to be excellent - warm and efficient. The room, however, left a little to be desired. It was a little dusty, with a couple of hairs in the bath and a (just noticeable) unpleasant smell in the wet room. We felt that it could have benefited from a little more care and attention. Breakfast was good, but not £15 good - we were B & B so weren't paying, but if we were we would have been disappointed. Overall we were slightly underwhelmed by our experience - not enough to complain about anything, but enough not to return.

I really liked it here at Drakes. The rooms are really spacious and you have all you need in the room. See my photo of the bathroom essential pack you get made by the white company. The staff are really friendly and it's right by the palace pier and walking distance from the centre. I also filmed my promo video not far from here so it was great to be local.

Lovely staff but it was style before practicality. Restaurant however was first class. Certain rooms not suitable for those with mobility problems and no lift either.

Friendly staff, lovely building, room and a great view, previous reviews about the restaurant were right, delicious food! With great drinks too! No lift though (that we saw anyway) and being on the third floor it was a bit tough! But well worth it with the view and the bath in the room! And car park could be maintained better but other than that would definitely recommed :)

Unforgettable experience.
We got a upgrade to the signature room which made this whole stay a very special day for us.
I was surprising my girlfriend for her birthday and this hotel it's just perfect.
The room was incredibly cosy, it was really hard to leave. The views are stunning, and the bed, try it for yourself!
The staff was friendly and very attentive which made us feel at home.
A bubble bath is mandatory, lay down and enjoy the view.
