Indian Summer

A great little Indian Restaurant. Special cooking that's above and beyond what you're used to. Lovely staff who are clearly passionate about what they are doing. This comes through in the food of course, the service and even their social media, which makes me hungry every time they post something.

I am upping my initial 4 stars to 5 to help counter some of the silly poor reviews left by people who are either competitors or just plain wrong. I was going to give it 4 stars solely on the grounds it's in Brighton and I am in Hertfordshire. Looking for any excuse to get back to Brighton soon and will be here again.

Probably the best Indian meal I have ever sat down to. Friendly and knowledgeable service, nice ambience and stunning food - if you are staying in Brighton this is a 'must visit'!

Lovely meal here with family. The food was incredible and the staff were very friendly and engaging. Will definitely return, if back in Brighton.

My wife and I visited Brighton for a two-night mid-week break and had selected Indian Summer using Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. From several of the locals, we learnt that the Indian Summer is held in high regard, having the reputation of being the best Indian Restaurant in Brighton. No sign of the 'standard British curry' fare here, only great authentic food.

The choice of dishes is not very wide but the dishes we choose were absolutely delicious.

Not overpriced for set 2 or 3 course options, the portions are not very generous so if you are a big eater you will certainly want the 3-course option.

We choose two very good beers from the good selection of ales and lagers. They went very well with the spicy food for which wine would have not been a good choice.

Service was efficient if a tad on the brusque side - they are apparently always full and have a high turnover of customers with little space for more staff so not surprising that a more engaged interaction is not possible.

A must go restaurant - ensure you book or you will be disappointed.
