This is a proper old fashioned pub. No frills so if you want a 'modern' pub experience like some of the poor reviewers on here then go into town. It's not run down at all - just hasn't been converted into a wood filled generic pub like 95% of the others. I love it for a quiet pint and it's nice to sit outside and look over the park. AND they sell Walkers crisps - no hand cut / cooked rubbish here. Plus the staff are all lovely and welcoming.

Technically my local, but it's a sad neglected pub that deserves better management and someone that wants to make it a success. The catchment area of Fiveways is vast and this could be a thriving pub, but it is mostly empty and lifeless. The local community deserves better and if the management really don't care about this pub, then they should pass it on to someone that will.

Staff are friendly enough but the place looks very run down. This pubs smells funny and has uncomfortable seating. The drinks are fairly priced and the back room has a dart board but not a pleasant experience all round.
