The Brighton PDSA staff are all Earth Angels as far as I'm concerned!
My Border Collier we had from a puppy & took her to a very expensive vet, didn't think much of them, when she was older took her (through change in my personal and health circumstances), to PDSA & straight waist they picked up on just how sick she was - something she'd had since birth! Now I'm disabled & have a beautiful cat and wouldn't dream of trusting anyone but the PDSA, the receptionists, nurses, techs & vets are all so very patient, kind, friendly, & great with Lily who becomes fearful, these people are amazing, I cannot thank them enough for all they do for Lily and I, and I donate every penny I can on each visit as well as support the charity, we would all be devastated without them. God bless them all.

Amazing place, amazing people. Without the PDSA I would not be able to keep my pets in tip top condition. A drastic change in circumstances meant I could no longer afford vet fees. Thank you PDSA for being there for me and my furry friends.

Fist of all the telephonist is constantly engaged due to high volumes of calls during opening times, so please be patient! as that person does not have all the answers, in order to help you in the best way they can has to at times, leave their position in order to go to ask for an answer to give you from medical and/or nursing staff who are often busy and at times must wait.
I respect, admire the people who give up their precious time to help others and treat their beloved animals, though it is true that they do a wonderful job, I do wish that the trained nurses would listen to the owner of a sick animal, as after all, when you have taken care and given love to an animal you come to know when something isn't quite right, not to be asked if the animal is looking OK after it has just past blood saturated number twos, followed later by a stream of congealed and fresh blood, rushed as quickly as possible to the PDSA Hospital, only to be told she could go home due to her wagging her tail, asked to bring her back in the morning at eight thirty as planned, I refused that nurses suggestion and insisted that she stay to be kept in over night and taken care of by trained professionals. Unfortunately, she didn't make it for more than four hours later, when she rapidly went down hill after having another stream of blood shoot out of her bottom, they phoned me to ask if they could put her to sleep, to be fair the nurse did ask if I could get to them in the next twenty minutes, it was that serious, sadly I could not, but went soon after. I find myself thinking, what if they had listened to me, to at least scan her when her symptoms began weeks prior, it is not such a nice thought, I blame myself for not being with her in passing, so I try to block these feelings away, it's not so easy.
If you believe that your beloved animal needs a certain treatment then speak up, there's no need to create a fuss! just ask to wait and see the main vet on at the day, as everyone is entitled to a second opinion. When you leave, Please give a much as you can, I see a lot of people who drive high end expensive cars come and go without leaving a donation, If you can afford to run a car, "in my opinion" you can have no reason for not helping fund your animals treatment! Then we have people who have many animals and expecting the PDSA to treat all of them and foot the bill for nothing is just plain gready! when you can't reach into your pocket and be a responsible animal owner and give what little the PDSA asks of you, then perhaps you alt to think about not having so many!
Thank you to All the staff who work at the PDSA, I respect all you have to go through in order to take up your chosen profession whether you're paid or volunteer, people who give up their precious time for our loved ones are themselves lovely precious people.
