I was refused to use their toilet when I was dying for one-the woman behind the bar just said rudely "customers only". I will never be their customer for sure after being treated like this. How could she expect me to buy a drink when I had full bladder?!

We went to the Rose and Crown on a Saturday night as they had live entertainment (a singer in this instance). However it couldn't be fully enjoyed as the sports on the TV was still on, with the volume up, at one end of the bar while he was performing at the other end. Then when the singer returned from a 15 minute interval he was handed his money (presumably by the landlady) and told to just go. It was so awkward for him and customers that were watching. I wish I'd chosen to go elsewhere, and next time I will as I won't be going back.

Lovely community pub. But very welcoming to anyone. You get a free curry and rice on Monday when you buy a pint.. And it's delicious. Pizzas are excellent and the Sunday Roasts are just like home cooked.

Brilliant place. We've had various parties in the function room. Staff go above and beyond, food is delicious and all home made. Lovely atmosphere. Caters all occasions, and our children were welcomed also. Love a bank holiday here!

This pub! Funny thing I only went in there cos u was super pressed and I don't know Bristol. When I got in the lady was super friendly but the surprising thing was how clean the Pub was and the toilet was Spotless WOW. I haven't tried the food there but when next I'm in Bristol I'm coming to try a meal there.
