The pub was clean and welcoming unfortunately our meal was a real let down, perhaps they are good at other items from the menu but the steak we had was so chewy it became a choking hazard, and certainly wasn't cooked to order "medium" we requested. The price was nice and low but it isn't an excuse for just how bad the steak was.

Sunday 25 June 07 l reserved for table at 4pm for five family members for a birthday suprise meal. On ordering we were told that there's no food as the chef hadn't come in. We were very upset but we managed to get into the Toby carvery Maes Knoll where we found they had 7 chefs and the food was first class as was the service. Such a shame I love a sizzling steak but I can't trust the place anymore

What a dump... Do the brewery not want to spend any money on this pub? Could be a great pub. The gents toilet leaks on your head when it rains and has done for 2 years.. Can't wait to fall over in there and claim
