To start with, the whole appointment system is stupid- call between 8-9 am is already hard when you start work at 9 and are kept on hold for god knows how long. Then the doctor we saw was the most unsympathetic doctor I have ever met. Her attitude the entire appointment gave the impression she didn't care about her patient. Then changed his medication without advising of the side effects of withdrawal or advising to slowly coming off the original tablets. The doctors may be rushed of their feet but they should still reassure and help the patient.

This place is an utter shambles. They're not helpful at all. Most staff are rushed off their feet and don't really have the time to go into issues more in depth with their patients. It take up to 72 hrs for my Midwives to contact me back and find I there is no support in that sector at all. It shocking how much we rely on on an organisation that it clearly struggling with the increase of case loads. I recommend to find a different health centre as their company standards are appalling.

The staff do their best - but the whole structure of the place seems crazy. It seems to have to ring between 8am and 9am to have a shot at getting an appointment. It’s usually quite soon - but miss this (extremely busy) window and your waiting till tomorrow to try again. Why!? The ‘telephone triage’ service is essentially a Doctor convincing you that you don’t need to go in for a visit - and is a disaster waiting to happen. When did we start having to justify wanting to see a GP? Wait times are typically long (I’ve never been seen on time) and it’s usually busy. One plus - there’s a pharmacy next door for any prescriptions - but there’s usually a long wait here too. I appreciate the NHS has no money - but this health centre seems to go out of its way to avoid seeing anyone at all.

Very busy practice, Standard of service at Montpelier Health Centre extremely poor!!!

I don't know what the Doctors are like but the Staff are clueless and lacking dedication. Training in customer service skills obviously badly needed.

Registration was painless but obtaining my prescription took 3 visits! Each time received assurances that my prescription would be ready but when I went to collect from the pharmacy my details wasn't on the system.

On my second visit the Receptionist disappeared for 20 minutes and reception area was jammed packed with people.

A lot of time and energy wasted. Left feeling angry and frustrated and didn't get any apologies.
