We had the smallest tier of double room on the HHonours floor. The bathroom was not very comfortable - the counter was RIGHT next to the toilet and didn't leave much room for comfort or manoeuvring. I know we were in the most basic tier of double room, but I would have expected a slightly better design.

I came here to perform at a one day conference. The hotel was clean and relatively recently renovated, but still quite dark and claustrophobic, a fact not helped by the ageing building, a relic from the 60s. The adjoining glass furnace restaurant is an interesting historical remnant of Bristol's glassblowing heritage.

Attended an event that was held at the venue. Very friendly staff, very clean and reasonable prices at the bar. However no food available to buy from the hotel, as far as I was aware, except for crisps. Just to be aware, car parking spaces were a little tight, so awkward for big cars. But all in all a very nice place.

A very nice stay at a lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and the rooms were well kept. On arrival we were given a cookie each which was really nice. It was still warm and had a liquid centre. The bathroom was a little small as the door opened onto the shower matt. The location is close to Bristol temple mead's station but not a lot else to be honest. A short can ride would be the best way to get it the city centre.

Nice hotel, reasonably well maintained. Staff were very helpful and parking was super easy. The room was a little on the tired side, it had clearly been a long time since it had seen a paint brush. The 'fresh' flowers in the room were dead when we arrived and notepads etc had not been replaced from the previous guests. Bed was very comfortable and the hotel very quiet at night. A good stay for one night but no more.
