Beautiful location, rooms comfortable and quite special. Staff very friendly, helpful and polite.

Usually excellent however, on this occasion not so good. Seven of us arrived for morning coffee at 10.45, one waitress on duty who saw us arrive. By 11am we had still not been served so one of our group had to go searching for service. Five of us ordered carafe coffee and two ordered tea. The tea and coffee was brought to our table and left there for us to serve however there were only five cups and only just enough coffee in the carafe to fill four cups. Again we had to search for the waitress who then brought two more carafes of coffee and one more cup.....after pointing out there were seven of us, we finally got the correct number of cups! We asked for scones or something to eat with our coffee and tea and were told they only had chocolate chip cookies which no one fancied. During the hour or more we spent chatting, no one came and asked if everything was OK or if we would like refills and we had to go in search of the waitress for our bill. This is not the sort of service we expect from this lovely hotel.

Perfect and fantastic stay, 100% Room lovely. Staffs very polite and happy. Worth stay there to chill out. It my son's wedding day and had a wonderful day, all went smoothly. Thanks for giving us a wonderful weekend especially the wedding day.
