Nice pub but the food was below par. My Wife ordered a fish finger sandwich which had very little fish in the sandwich. I can only presume their fish resemble the size of a small goldfish. I had a beef sandwich which was only marginally better, the brioche bun was soggy and fell apart. The staff friendly.

Staff have always been helpful, good always been good. Nice location in the center of Cheltenham.

I was looking to plan an engagement party at this venue, which I wanted to be part-catered so that hot food could be provided, and we could provide the cold foods and desserts. The staff told me for health and safety reasons they could not allow any savoury food to be brought on to the premises, which I would normally understand, but they would allow us to bring any desserts we wanted. I asked about pastries, to which they responded that we could bring sweet pastries but not savoury, for health and safety reasons, (because everyone knows nobody has ever gotten food poisoning from a dessert!) Very strange and unaccommodating and just lost out on a guaranteed booking of 70 people!

The door staff here are ignorant and very intimidating! We were politely finishing our drinks at the end of the evening after not long being served them, when the door men circled us and told us that we were TRESPASSING! Horrible and actually quite frightening experience which ruined an otherwise lovely evening. I've noticed someone else commenting that they were also intimidated by them too under different circumstances, so clearly a problem with this place.
