The welcome was charming as usual, excellent staff. Very nice room with lovely view over gardens. Only downside was the over hot bedding (thick duvet with no choice of anything else to replace it, such as a sheet). Easy to rectify so please address this. Otherwise a most relaxing stay.

Nearly perfect. The room was excellent, well equipped, even books of poetry to read. Everything looked new and worked properly. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. If there was one tiny fault it was with serving staff at breakfast. Surely if a waiter enters the rom to bring something to a table. he/she should glance round the room to see if anybody else needs anything, not scuttle out with eyes down? we had difficulty attracting attention, had to call out several times! Doesn't look good!

The suite was lovely and spacious, staff were really attentive and the inclusive breakfast was great. The only criticism was that breakfast was busy on Sunday morning and there didn't seem to be enough staff to clear tables. We wanted to sit in the room overlooking the garden and despite tables being free, they had not been cleaned. The staff member did not seem keen to clean one of the tables for us, so we were sat inside despite me expressing that I wanted to sit elsewhere. In addition, the bar menu had not been updated, therefore the champagne available by the glass on the menu was different to the one served. However, both were small points and did not impact our stay overall.

The hotel was beautiful and we couldn't fault anything. A great room, fantastic breakfast selection. We had lunch and that was fantastic too. Rooms had all the necessary items within them. Staff were very pleasant. Location was great for easy access to Cheltenham centre, approx 3-5 min walk.

Our room was comfortable, clean, and bright, the only issue we had was that the bed was so prominent as the room was very narrow. The bed linen and pillows were of the highest order resulting in a good nights sleep.
The breakfast was excellent with very good unobtrusive service in an attractive setting. Parking was good and reasonably priced.
This hotel demonstrated high standards of service throughout and is ideal for a short relaxing stay.
