Endsleigh. All ok until you have an issue. After 3 cars in a year insured to them they sent my renewal to a house across the road. Renewed my insurance and sent an email on the day. When I realised I rang them to cancel and the told me they had sent everything to the wrong address and its my fault and want to charge me a months fee. Threatened me with bailiffs if i didnt pay!! Said he could waive the fee but simply didnt want to!!! Even though I use my address as a security question on the phone they have a different one on record.. the agro over £40 is daft but its the principal. Have been escalated to complaints team. We will see how they respond from now. Hopefully the person I spoke to was just on one because it was nearly closing time when i rang.

Wish there was 0 stars ...... Worst insurer ever, cancelled my policy paid the cancellation fees and they still took money out of my account via direct debit ! Absoutle rip offs then was told it was interest for the months remaining. PLEASE don't insure with these guys can't urge you enough ! Absolutely Livid :(

I wish I could work out how to give a rating with zero stars. Dear Endsleigh, we are now more than 14 months since the flooding, an agreed insured event; you were initially prompt and kind but those were just words. Since you made so little progress and I really would like my house back, reluctantly, after 10 months, I took over the works. 4 months on you continually make very sweet promises about providing certain information to enable the works and reimbursing me the costs, non of which is controversial. However, you do not seem able to carry through with your promises and months on that elusive cheque must still be firmly in the post.

I have had absolutely no problem when I've dealt with Endsleigh. I've been with them for 4 years and have made 3 claims (2 mobile phones and a Chromebook) in the case of the phone's, the screens were repaired within 7 days, and as for my Chromebook, it was beyond repair so they replaced it. I did have to re-instate my insurance once they had replaced my Chromebook, but that is within the T's & C's. Withing the 4 years I have also moved house 3 times and have had no problem with address changes, all of their agents have been lovely (at least the ones I have spoken to). Overall I cannot speak more highly of them, especially for student insurance.

I have called to simply change the address on my policy and have been re quoted almost £80 more than my current policy. I have recently renewed my policy on the 18th of June and don't expect to have to pay again to simply update the address on my policy.
When I called to renew the policy on the 18th of June I made them aware that I was moving to a new premises and was lied to and told that I just need to call and they would update the address on the day, no mention of being re quoted or charged any more. Due to this I am now left with a totally useless policy on an address I no longer live at.
Also they aren't very competitive price wise and I'm sure you will be able to find a better price elsewhere.
Appalling service please please avoid at all costs
