With 6 weeks to go until the London Marathon I was reduced to going up and down stairs on my backside. In short my achilles tendon was not in good shape and my chances of making the start line were not looking good. Richard Smith really is the expert when it comes to running injury rehabilitation. He sourced the problem area, analysed my gait and put together a treatment & training plan that not only got me to the start line but also over the finish line. My post run sports massage from Holly in The Medical, Portishead also really helped get my legs going again afterwards as well. Cheers Rich and Holly, I will certainly recommend you both in the future!

After playing rugby for numerous years and recreational training sports massage has been really effective for me before and for recovery after games. Amy has provided sports massage to compliment my training

I have received acupuncture and a deep massage from Jess when I was having difficulties with my back. She is brilliant, listens to your concerns and works very deeply into your muscles. 2 days after treatment felt much relief. Highly recommended.

I have been receiving sports massage therapy from Jo for the last few years. She has been instrumental in my recovery from a back injury and general lack of flexibility". Since being treated by Jo l have managed to remain injury free and have felt the benefit towards my ability in my sport of Skydiving. I would unequivocally recommend Jo as a massage therapist and therefore l would encourage others to book an appointment via the Medical in Chipping Sodbury at the earliest opportunity.
