A bit grim, food and drink prices are reasonable but have had some questionable pies here! Staff generally helpful. Usually go to play a game of pool here, the table is usable but needs some attention. Overall the place is in need of love and a rethink.

Comfortable hotel in a fantastic historic building right in the centre of Buckingham overlooking the Old Gaol. The ground floor pub is a little rough-and-ready but once you've got to reception the staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and nicely decorated. We only ate there for breakfast but that was very good and decent value at about £6. There are lots of other restaurants within a minute or two's walk if you fancied somewhere a bit swankier for the evening meal.
