I haven't been here for a while...
The pub changed hands a couple of months ago and previously to that there were a lot of changes ......some evenings could be very busy and other evenings we would be the only visitors
They used to hold interesting events like Open Mic nights , classic car events and celebrated special events on the calendar
Must try it again sonetime

Food was lovely. Seven different meals and all came out together, hot, well presented and cooked well. My criticisms would be the service was a bit lacking. We were seated at our table which had been pre booked but no menus or cutlery were given. When we did order our choices two items were unavailable which we should have been told when we were finally given the menus to save disappointment. Finally the ice cream sundae was very poor and not worth the price charged. We still had a good time and thought that the main meals we could have were lovely.

Great food, not expensive. Yes it's not the fastest but when it's home cooked and piping hot don't mind a bit of a wait.

Good fresh fish menu. Friendly staff, good service. Great outdoor play area for kids. Definitely worth a visit.

Drinks range ok service ok food needs huge improvement before we will rush back- pity because it's a great pub in a goldmine location. Sort it and it's a winner!
