I love this place, beer is great and there's always loads of options on. Really good outside seating too if you are lucky enough with the weather

Fantastic pub. Great selection of ales and cider. Wonderful staff and the owners are lovely.

Great local beers and micro brewery treasures on rotation. You won't find Carlsberg Guinness or Strongbow here and all the better for it. Lovely staff and a brilliant jukebox. Live music on a Sunday and numerous 'events' ( beer festival, quiz nights etc.) throughout the year. It's an escape from the homogenous rubbish we get served up these days. A proper pub for proper people. Love it!

Loved this pub, by far my favourite in Colchester. Most drinks were brewed locally, not branded and there is a cider bar where you can try some lovely flavours. It's not a food pub but they are happy for you to take your own in (it's surrounded by an array of takeaways). Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place (the grapefruit gin is superb!)

I love this place. No messing about. The best selection of beers and Ales. A fantastic beer garden. Always enjoy the live music. Bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable about all the booze. Good value for money. Well worth a visit.
