Camped here for 2 nights with children. Park was easy to find, staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to set up early as it was quiet. Park was clean and well maintained, plenty of showers and separate cubicles with just sinks and separate cubicles with toilets, washing up area and shower/toilet blocks cleaned daily. Kids loved the play area, my only suggestion for the park would be to get something for the smaller children. Am pleased with the site and staff.
Only draw back (which is out of their control) is the A12. I'm not a light sleeper but could hear it at night, you can't see it but you can definately hear it.

I found this campsite to be well run, tidy and convenient for visiting Colchester. The shower blocks are also pretty good.

We spent a great day / night here recently, after buying our new campervan!!! We camped with friends and enjoyed drinks and BBQ in the sunshine on a lovely, quiet site (busy, with lots of other campers but quiet), with lots of open spaces around the pitches. The facilities were very good too - large shower cubicles and good toilet facilities too! There is a road nearby which you can hear now and again, but you soon forget about it. All in all, a very pleasant stay!

Nice site. We'll kept, neat clean and tidy. Staff very helpful with lots of local knowledge about shops, places to eat etc. The only drawback is the noise intrusion from the A12. Not so bad on the far side of the park, but the grass EHU pitches are within metres of the road. I would probably come again, but I'd ask to be as far from the road as possible.
