OUTSIDERS NOT WELCOME!!! Phoned ahead to check that if we made the journey to Radford that we would be able to watch the final of the darts on TV. We were told that we would be able to. Happily when we turned up and bought a drink they were showing the darts. Not 10 minutes into our visit to Radford social we were approached by what I assume was the manager. Without any introduction and any apology he rudely blurted "football takes priority in this pub" and swiftly changed the channel. Bewildered and speechless we attempted to object saying that we had travelled especially to watch the darts and even paid a non members fee to get in. We were ignored and made to feel like an outcast and very unwelcome. Stay away from here as it is clearly a clique and I'm sure it will be flats within a decade.
