Not overly Somoan, but a significant improvement upon The Shakespeare, which tended to attract the same crowd as bars down the Burges. Without the alcoholics and down and outs it is vastly improved. When it is busy it would probably be a 4/5 stars in Coventry terms, but a 3 compared to anywhere else. Lack of decent lager has been experienced here, with Red Stripe the only premium beer.
Although a few of its previous clientele sometimes get past the bouncers, it is now a rather civilised venue. As Coventry has a serious lack of decent bars, it is probably worth a visit on a night out.

It i so very busy here and at the wrong time not cheap. Good if you like cocktails. Small outdoor smoking /seating area

Pricey drinks but fantastic for a great night out with friends and a great atmosphere. It is amazing to watch the bartenders free pour the drinks

Great place nice chilled and grown up.
Original plan was kasbah but because I wasn't a student I got refused entry as I was to old. So glad as we had a much a much better night at Samoan joes.
