Lovely staff who work here, but the upstairs Costa toilet well it's horrible. I do love coming here, but would be nice if toilet was checked more regularly.

Three floors, one of which is split evenly between novelty items and childrens books, and a fiction section half of whose floor space is a coffee shop. The ranges of fiction books appear to be poorly curated and updated very irregularly; the ranges of non-fiction are somewhat better organised. The shelves are updated so slowly that it is not worth visiting the shop to browse more often that every two or three months; the birmingham branch offers a far better range and service.

Having a Costa Coffee shop upstairs is a wonderful addition to a great book shop. With 3 floors of reading material you can get books from pretty much any genre. Only one word of advice... Books and coffee are a dangerous combination! :)

One of the few places to buy manga at a decent price, they have a decent selection of manga but if you want more of a selection of manga go to forbidden planet.
