A local nature reserve and headquarters of a charitable trust whose aim is to conserve local wildlife. The nature reserve itself is large, with plenty of wildlife of interest to look out for, and there is a coffee shop/diner to enjoy too. If you are interested getting involved in wildlife in the locality, this is good place to start. As headquarters of the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, there is plenty of information about local work and activities at the visitors centre.
A trip here makes for a good day out for parents and children, and anyone interested in nature. Only downside is that only guide dogs are allowed (although the restriction is understandable given the conservation goals of the reserve).
