Amazing place for students. A draft of beer goes from as little as just £1 depending on the brand, provided you have a student saver card, which you can buy for £1. The breakfast offers are absolutely worth the money. You can get a full english breakfast for just £3.50 until 12pm. I gladly recommend this place to everyone!

It is a fair small place but does have garden for drinks etc just the fact parking is a problem and floor is sticky not sure about prices of drinks but they do offer sport matches live just have to book online otherwise refused entry at the door

Basic. Haven't been in in a good few years and it's regressed a bit since then. Back then there were big comfy sofas and it felt like a proper student hang out. Now, while it's nice enough and has a decent selection of beers nothing really sets it apart from all the other student traps. The beer garden was alright and I'd come back if I were nearby and fancied a drink and a bite to eat.

Only ever come here when a staff member leaves work. Staff are friendly the atmosphere is okay and there is usually a beer of the month on tap. Recommend for a social event with friends.

Wow - was very pleasantly surprised by the look/feel/ethos of the refurbished Aardvark! A huge improvement was the well-kept bank of real ales on draught - especially one of my favourites, Jaipur. Well done to whoever is looking after the cellar - the range and quality were fantastic. Previously, there used to be only a couple of choices : one would have the clip rotated and the other would be distinctly vinegary. The musical output was also brilliant - both in terms of selection and volume.
It has been over a year since I was last in the Aardvark and I did not know that it had been refurbished so I was not looking forward to meeting work colleagues there -that has all changed. I shall definitely be back - hopefully sitting out in the lovely Beer Garden. Fantastic!!
