We booked the family friendly room which was £130 For the night. It was extremely shabby and very tiered. Holes in the wall, filthy bathroom and generally old and worn. We had our 1 year old daughter with us (hence the family room) however the bar stocked no child friendly drinks and during our meal refused to heat up her food. My meal was ok but my wife's vegetarian option was awful. Breakfast was also awfull. A few of the male staff were rude and had bad attitudes. Would never stop here again.

Lovely family lunch. Food delicious. Service outstanding. Lovely settinv. Nothing to much trouble. Maybe our first visit but certainly will not be our last.

We went as two couples for an evening meal. The two for one pizza offer is a fantastic deal, this runs Monday to Friday. The service was fantastic, however we did have an issue with our order ticket going missing at the start. We watched for an hour as others who arrived well after us received their meals, and after asking the waitress it became clear they had made a mistake. They quickly apologised and the manager offered us free drinks and desserts which was a kind gesture that more than made up for the mistake. The way they dealt with this showed they cared and they were very professional. We all had pizzas and they were absolutely delicious. The toppings were plentiful and tasty. We were even given two complimentary bowls of fries as a further apology for the earlier mistake. We then ordered desserts, two were fantastic but unfortunately the two brownies were served cold which made them difficult to eat and not particularly tasty. I know from a past visit that the brownie is normally amazing. This was again dealt with fantastically and we were given 20% off our drinks bill. Despite the issues, we had a fantastic time at the Farmhouse. The staff were amazing in handling the problems and I have confidence that it wasn't a regular occurrence, and I know this from past visits too. The setting is stunning and very warm and inviting. I'd highly recommend the Farmhouse.

My wife and I traveled from NYC for a wedding and stayed here for two nights. We loved it. Charming and cozy establishment with a great staff. Room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom and shower were a good size and were also clean. Ate breakfast both mornings and enjoyed the food. Again, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend Staying here or stopping in for a pint and a meal.
