Fantastic personal shopping experience with Becky from Debenhams, what a fantastic treat. She picked both my wife and I clothes out that we’d have never have chosen ourselves. Went away very happy

My husband took me to Debenhams Derby to look at wedding outfits for my daughter's wedding 10th Nov. After trying on 3 outfits a young lady approached us asking if she could help she explained that she was a personal shopper and picked me 4 dresses out (these were not the style of dress I would go for myself and I was a little reluctant to say the least). She took us to a lovely room where I had my own personal fitting room and my husband could see everything I was trying on. The young lady was called Alana and she fetched me shoes, bags, jackets and fascinators to compliment & complete the outfits. Due to me losing weight recently she even fetched in a young lady called Catherine who provides the bra fitting service, Catherine brought me a bra which was the best fitting most comfortable bra I have had for a long time. The dresses Alana chose all fit perfectly and I was surprised as they looked amazing, I was totally spoilt for choice. In the end it was between 2 outfits, we were given vouchers for complimentary coffee and cake for the coffee shop so I could look at the photo's that my husband had taken on his phone to help me decide. When we returned Alana served me personally and took my purchases away to be bagged up. They were all wrapped up lovely in tissue paper in the bags. What a great experience I felt like Julia Roberts in pretty woman when she was waited on hand and foot. Many thanks Alana & Catherine. X

Went for lunch today in the restaurant and had the worst experience ever. Food order came out with items missing and i was asked to produce my receipt as proof of payment for said items!
Then told i couldn't have the food i had ordered and paid for because they didn't sell it separately! Two members of my group are vegetarian and one, who is a child, is also dairy intolerant. It was pointed out to the member of staff who was harassing us at the table that there was nothing on the set menu that was suitable and she agreed with us when we suggested that we wouldn't therefore be able to eat there again!! Unbelievable and needless to say we never will!!

I love Debenhams usually..but my shopping experience today was not enjoyable. Unfortunately the lack of customer service I received on click and collect today has led me to rate today's experience a one star.
