The Electric Circus is a bar & karaoke room venue in central Edinburgh, close to Princes Street.
Sound-proofed karaoke rooms are hireable by the hour, the rate depending on the day of the week, the time slot booked and the number in the party.
Saturday evenings are most popular and therefore most expensive. All day Sundays to Thursdays are at the cheapest hourly rate, regardless of party size.
Each room has a karaoke machine that is easily searchable and programmable with the required song tracks, which it plays automatically in the desired order.
Wireless microphones are provided and there are plenty comfortable sofas in the rooms.
Drinks from the bar can be brought to the karaoke room, or bar service to the room can be ordered using a "room service" button.
The electronic songbook is comprehensive and can be viewed on the venue website before visiting.
Transport links :
* The venue is almost adjacent to Waverley Railway Station in central Edinburgh.
* The bus station at St Andrew's Square is a few minutes' walk away.

A joke of a bar. Not clean, rips you off charging £500 for 3 hours private room and it's a total mess with NO SERVICE. Staff wearing what can only be discribed as totally unprofessional clothing and the manager talks absolute rubbish to the point where facts are irrelevant. Plus he is dressed as a character out of shameless.
Not surprised to learn this place is closing down.... had they cared about their customers, perhaps reality would be different.

Rented a karaoke room. No waiter ever came to visit, even though we were clearly the only people there. And then, they came to visit 30 minutes before our time was up to tell us that we needed to finish up soon so... not my fav.

Been here time and time again! What a great little spot. The karaoke rooms are amazing and so much fun, the staff are so lovely and know their stuff. Live music too - what a treat, seen some amazing bands here and the club nights are lots of fun not to mention the cocktails! Delish!
