Well after visiting the Tower we were so impressed we just had to book another restuarant in the group. Location building surroundings absolutely superb. Some of the staff let it down. From my courtesy call to say we may be ten minutes late to be told "we are fully booked tonight and this may effect your
Dining time.... to when we arrived 12 minutes early and were told by our greeter that we really didn't have time for pre dinner drinks... which we insisted on and then the waitress talked about the need to turn the tables... All of this didn't make a good start.
Food 4 out of
Nearly a £300 spend for two and they want to turn the table!
Hopefully the Whitchery tommorow will be better...

5 stars for atmosphere 4 stars for food! What a lovely surprise we stumbled upon. After forgetting to make reservations on a Saturday evening, out Concierge was able to get us a late night table here, what a treat!
The grounds and hotel itself are stunning, unique, and intriguing. Lovely cocktails to be had on your walk around the gardens so be sure to arrive early to fully enjoy.
Dinner was lovely but the wine selection even better.
Would certainly recommend this spot to anyone looking to feel as if you have escaped the bustle of city center.

Really good Michelin recommended food! Would recommend to anyone in Edinburgh. Service is fast, waiters are well-trained. Left with full satisfaction! Will definitely go back.
