FISH MY HUSBAND AND TWO FRIENDS WERY WET WASENT QUIET DEFORSTED WHEN COOKED Up all night in loo wont be back my meal was O.k but needs a up grade been like that for Years .same because you have a lovely spot by the Water of leith for Familys to come to .

Great, dog-friendly pub. Lovely beer patio next to the river, which is great after a walk in Colinton Dell.
Food is very good, but rather pricey. Live music can be *ahem* a little grating on occasion.
However, it's a pub that serves food, allows dogs, and has comfortable seats and a good beer selection.
Massive improvement over The Dell and the Tickled Trout that used to be there.

Dropped a star as they appear to have been taken over and have reduced the quality of the food dramatically.

Great atmosphere, dog friendly. Food always superb, freshly cooked, though this can mean waiting 30-40 minutes on occasion if busy.

Do you like burgers? Steak? Chicken? This place has it all, great value and quality money and a team of staff with a "can do" attitude! Will definitely be a repeat customer!

Nice family restaurant in an area of town with very little other restaurants on offer.
Food is reasonable priced but maybe not the greatest quality and mainly standard fare available. Was a bit disappointed when the two things I wanted were both unavailable.
Decor is very strange as not quite sure what it's trying to be but there is a lovely outdoor seating bit beside the water of leith that is amazing for alfresco dining or a few drinks on a sunny day.
Great place to take the kids as plenty space and relaxed atmosphere.
