Love it here!cosy and friendly. Staff are great,nothing is ever too much for them and has a nice atmosphere .

The Bothy offers a great range of Whiskies. A great pint of Heverlee (Belgian Lager) plus other draught beers, sensibly priced. Music Friday & Saturday nights. Quiz on Tuesday night.

Tip - if expecting a promotional discount pay by cash. We paid by debit card and the 15% discount was not deducted at point of sale although it was quoted on the bill.
At the time we asked for the discount to be paid to us in cash but the manager told us this would not be possible and that it would be refunded to our bank account within a few days.
Numerous phone calls later and not one call back - no joy. It has taken 6 weeks and a journey to the Bothy to get a refund handed to me in cash.
The attitude of the managers was appalling - they just didn't care and seemed to think they were doing us a favour by giving us our money back.
The restaurant staff are great and I really hope they are treated better than the customers!
Needless to say we will not be back.
